I would like to change the theme to one that scrolls up and down and can show several images Large on one post. But when I try to change the theme, the images I post are very small and also theres a white box that I dont know how to get rid of.

Hi there,
It looks like the theme you’re currently using, Duotone, automatically expands images to fit the content width. For example, on your post “A lantern’s light in the forest”, the image within the post is 226 x 300 px. However, on the actual post on your site, the width is expanded to 560 px. So, if you switch to another theme that does not automatically enlarge the images, they will appear as the actual size (226 x 300 px in this case). That’s likely why your images are appearing much smaller when you switch themes. If you would like to switch themes, we can use a bit of CSS to enlarge your images a bit. Just let me know what theme you’re looking at and we can make sure it looks how you want!
Regarding the white box, can you explain a bit more of what you’re referring to?

I am happy with modularity lite. But see how there is a white box and the photos got really small. Its not that way on my other modularity lite site.

Hi there,
Regarding the white box, that is a placeholder for the optional home page slideshow. After activating the theme, just navigate to your Theme Options under Dashboard -> Appearance -> Theme Options. Make sure the option for “Yes! I’d like to enable the optional home page slideshow” is unchecked as shown here:
That should remove the white box.

If you switch to another theme that does not automatically enlarge the images, they will appear as the actual size (226 x 300 px in this case), which is why you’re seeing smaller images. Once you enable the theme, I’m happy to help you to enlarge the images using CSS.
Let me know if you have any additional questions!

I will change it today and yes I need help making the images as large as possible when loaded and viewed. Is modularity lite the best site for this?

In order to see the Theme Options, you will need to enable the theme first (not preview it). It should appear in your sidebar after the theme has been enabled as shown here:
Once you enable the theme, I’m happy help you enlarge the images as much as possible!

Thanks I just changed to Modularity lite so please make the images larger on the blog…and let me know how you did it.

You should be able to change the size of your images by navigating to your Media Settings found here:
https://figurativeimagery.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-media.php?settings
From that page, change the dimensions of the “Medium Size” attribute from 300×300 to something larger (500×500 for example).
Let me know if that works for what you’re looking to do!
