Size of uploaded images from previous posts become larger

  As I checked my blog, I noticed that the images that I have uploaded in all my recent posts have become larger than I have set them before. I have never changed any of the settings for my blog, particularly for media. Yet, it seems like something have changed which made all of the images become huge. I have already tried editing the picture size for each post, but it the images won’t return to its normal size which fits the column width of my theme.

  I have also checked the general settings for the images and tried to do some changes. The image size of the photos however, remains the same.

  I guess there is something wrong and I have already checked out forums to resolve this. I couldn’t find any helpful tip.

  What could be the problem?

  And also, by larger I mean the full size of the original photos that I have uploaded.
