Sketch Carousel/ portfolio page layout

  hi,
  i am trying to set up the “sketch theme” and using the WP theme “example” as my model, as i go – i just created the portfolio page, carousel and few projects underneath, but i noticed between my carousel and projects is the header, “portfolio and share this, etc” – where in comparison, on the example sketch theme page this is not there? – how do i fix this so it looks more like the example look i’m going for?

  ok i think i figure out half of the problem

  i edited the buttons and the likes from the page, and removed the share erase the page title etc, but now there is still that gap?

  how do i tighten that up to look like the example?

  also is there a footer i can add the buttons too to look more like the example sketch page?

  ok, so i changed the aspect ratio, and that helped close up the gap, when i checked the static page from another search engine, that i was not logged into workers from, it seems the gap only looks large to me cause I’m logged in and edit is an option

  so now i guess i need help, with displaying the other websites buttons at the foot of the page? any help would be greatly appreciated ty
