Sketch: square featured images being cropped to rectangle in feed
-
Going nuts over this.
My featured images in sketch are square, but they’re being cropped into rectangles on the home page / main feed. Anyone now how to resolve this as I’m losing the text / top / bottom of images.

Sketch is designed to display featured images this way – they get cropped to 400px high in the code directly, for example:
<img class="attachment-sketch-featured wp-post-image" width="1092" height="400" alt="IMG_0927" src="https://mummuddlingthrough.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/img_0927.jpg?w=1092&h=400&crop=1">If you prefer to display the full image, I’d suggest inserting them at the top of each post instead of adding them as featured images.

Thank you…. I’m wondering whether I’d be better off using a different theme, but so much work gone into it so far! Maybe cube?

It really depends what you’re looking for! Would inserting the images manually into your posts be a possible workaround for you?
