Sketch Theme: Comments and Tags of Posts not visible on Front Page
-
I’m using the Sketch Theme for my blog and really like the it. Especially the font and the project portfolio slider.
However there are 2 things I’d like to change but don’t know how. My front page is displaying the latest posts.
1. A post’s tags are only visible when someone goes to the post link but not on the front page. Is it possible to change that?
2. The same with the “Add a comment” button. It is only visible in the post itself but not on the front page. Is there any way to change that as well?
Thanks, Michael

Glad you’re liking Sketch, Michael!
On WordPress.com, it isn’t possible to add tags or the “add comment” link to the blog page in this theme, because theme files can’t be modified here.
However, I noticed that you’re running a self-hosted version of Sketch on your own host, so you have more flexibility by using a child theme. If you’d be interested in creating a child theme, please go ahead and post in the WordPress.org support forum for Sketch, and I’d be glad to help you with the necessary modifications there:

Dear Kathryn,
I’ve already posted the same issue on wordpress.org. I would appreciate your assistance with the child theme. What exactly would I have to amend? Please reply in the other forum.
Thanks! -
Ah, looks like you didn’t post in the Sketch forum so I that’s why I didn’t see it. I will take a look and you’ll get a reply there.
