(Sketch theme) creating a portfolio

  Hi,

  I’m working with the sketch theme. I’m trying to add a portfolio gallery. I followed the directions and wound up here – http://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/

  And was told to go here – Settings → Writing → Your Custom Content Types

  “Your Custom Content Types” does not exist under Writing or anywhere on the settings page. What am I missing? Very frustrating.

  Please help.

  I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

  That site is not hosted here by WordPress.COM. This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM and we provide support only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You do not have a WordPress.COM blog and you cannot get support for any blog that’s not hosted by WordPress.COM on the WordPress.COM support forums.
