Sketch theme featured image size

  Hi,
  I want to know if it’s possible to change the featured image size in the Sketch theme beyond those options available in the Customize panel.

  I’d like my featured images to show in their full size, as they do on Edin theme by default.

  Is that possible, and if so, can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

  PS the images I want set as featured images are in a 1:1.4 ratio.

  Hi there, it isn’t possible on WordPress.com to choose image ratios beyond those offered in the Customizer, sorry about that.

  If you are self-hosted, you may be able to create a child theme and add your own size, although it may be a little complicated. If you’re running WordPress on your own server and would like to pursue that avenue, feel free to post in the Sketch forum at WordPress.org:

  Thank you kathrynwp, my site is self hosted, so i’ll try the child theme route.
