Sketch Theme Header Size – Confused!
-
I am really very confused.
As per the recommendation, I created a header which was 1092px wide. I upload this, and Sketch then wants me to crop it.
Ends up that it is around 350 × 263.
Now what’s weird is that there is a similar post and rachelmcr helped somebody. I just cannot fathom what I am doing wrong?
Of course when the image is cropped, the content is massively pixelated.
Grr!

The instruction in the forum page linked to above is on how to assign posts, pages, or projects to the featured content slider.
I don’t know why you had the result you describe when attempting to create a normal size header for Sketch. On my test site I made a couple of headers and each time it cropped to 1092 X 399.

Thanks for that. I just don’t know what I am doing wrong here. I mean it is a simple case of uploading a file and assigning as a header. I wonder if my size in Photoshop is wrong somehow? Thanks for looking. I will try and do the same on my test site with another theme as well as this theme. Cheers

Test again with an image which you know is greater than 1092 pixels in width. Image dimensions are always provided at Google images, for example. Any of the photographs I’ve seen on your site would do. Where are you seeing 350 X 263?
