Sketch theme – menu and featured images not displaying properly?

    I’ve just changed my website to use the The Sketch Theme – http://victoriajarman.com/

    I’ve just noticed two problems – not sure if anyone can help with these?

    1. when I hover over my menus with sub-menus they are partly hidden behind any images at the top of the page

    2. My featured images show on my blog page but when clicking on a specific post the featured image isn’t displayed.

    Are these bugs?

    …I’ve just noticed that when I add a header image the sub-menu items show over the images rather than being obscured by images/text on the rest of the page… any way to fix this if I don’t want a header image?
