Sketch theme – need static portfolio home page

  I’ve been playing around with this for a couple of hours now and I cannot figure it out.

  Are both pages and posts available to be used in that slider at the top? How do I get posts to appear below the slider? I followed the instructions in the Sketch theme and I can’t get it to work.

  Here’s what I want:

  I want a few featured posts/pages in the slider. Underneath the slider I want other pages/posts.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Oh, it looks like I need to use PROJECTS for this…not pages or posts. Correct?

  Is there any way to get rid of the title (“Home”) and any text that’s there? Right now it’s not letting me delete that content.

  If you are talking about where it says Home and Blog that looks like it is a menu element. See if altering your menu settings(such as unchecking primary or removing menu items) will get rid of it.

  Thank you for responding.

  I eventually did figure out how to get rid of the word “Home” and the text that was there. That’s the way it always works. I ask a question and then a few minutes later I figure it out. lol
