Sketch theme portfolio

I want to use a the Sketch theme to show different categories of projects, such as Cooking and Drawing. I see that you need to create a page, set the page attribute as “Portfolio template page,” then make that the front page in order to show the portfolio as your home page.
It seems that a Page is static and when I add a project, how do I add it to a Page? I can’t modify a blog posts page’s attributes. I;m having trouble making my existing blog into a portfolio.

@guluforyou you’d be welcome to link to a particular project type or category instead.
For the front page of the theme to look like it does in the demo, you’ll need to add portfolio projects, set up a portfolio page, then set it as your front page. But your menu can link to whatever sections of the site you like.
For example, in the demo we could link to a “Posters” page if we wanted to, and it would display this:
https://sketchdemo.wordpress.com/project-tag/poster/Does this help? Also are you going to use it at as a portfolio or did you just like the grid layout? This theme’s grid is designed for portfolio projects, so you would need to add several projects for it to work right.
