Sketch theme portfolio pages showing similar posts more projects

At the bottom of each portfolio page in the Sketch theme, three “similar posts” show in addition to the “more projects” directly below it. How can I get the similar posts to stop showing? It’s pretty redundant.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

I don’t know what is causing the three “similar posts,” which are actually projects, to appear on your portfolio projects. I don’t find that effect occurring on the Sketch demo, and was unable to reproduce it on a test site. I’ve tagged the topic to call for staff attention. Please wait for staff to respond.

  • Hi there,

Your site at http://kristygood.com/ is not a WordPress.com site, but a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software. That section you’re seeing is the “Related Posts” feature of the Jetpack plugin.

To disable that feature, log into your WP-Admin dashboard. Click on Jetpack ->Settings ->Traffic. You can disable the feature from there.

If you need more help with this, please post in the Jetpack forums directly, here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack

And you can find the self-hosted forum for your version of the Sketch theme here:

Ah I didn’t even consider Jetpack. I also didn’t know there was a separate forum for self-hosted Sketch sites. Thank you for all your help, it worked!

  • Excellent! Thanks for letting me know :)

I also didn’t know there was a separate forum for self-hosted Sketch sites.

Sketch is one of our themes, so we can definitely try to help you, but the self-hosted version of the theme is slightly different from the WordPress.com version, so the self-hosted forum is generally a better place to get the most accurate advice.
