Sketch Theme posts not showing in certain pages

    Hi everyone,

    I’ve been using Sketch for a while now and am very happy with it. The way my blog is set up is there are several pages such as “fashion”, “fitness”, etc. Majority of my posts fall under several pages (categories). However, I just realized that three of my last posts are showing up in all the right pages except fashion. I’m not sure what triggered it.
    Any thoughts?

    Hi Paula,
    I see newer posts on your fashion category page, but they are about 2/3 of the way down. Have you set up the page using a Display Post Shortcode? If so, the order setting may need to be updated.

    Hi,

    If I’m not wrong you’re talking about the posts displayed under the categories with a “read more”. If so, that was done so intentionally. What I’m asking about is that there are about three or four posts that should be showing up under ‘Fashion’ but aren’t, and are showing up on the other categories they were also placed in. For whatever reason it’s just the Fashion category that isn’t showing my latest few posts.
    I use the Fashion category the most out of all of them. Is there somehow a setting that limits how many posts can be in each category or page?

    Hi Paula,

    Fashion page doesn’t appear to be a category page. The rest of your pages (except About page) are category pages so they display posts set to those categories.

    It seems you set Fashion page as your posts page on your Reading Settings page at https://laceandmimosas.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

    Could you check if this is the case?

    There is no limit on number of posts for you can assign to each category.

    But this is the URL you’re linking the word “Fashion” to in your top menu:

    Fashion

    See how it’s missing the word “category” in the URL?

    Let me know if this sorts things out.

    If this category page – https://laceandmimosas.wordpress.com/category/fashion/ – is still missing posts, could you please provide a link to the missing posts so I can take a look?
