Skiping posts page, straight to archive?

Is it possible? Let’s say I want to make post public, but I don’t want to show it on posts page.
I know that there is a plugin if you use wordpress instalation, but what about on wordpress.com?

    M.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No that’s not possible here at all. When we publish a post it automatically appears in both the categories pages and archives. This cannot be change. We cannot edit themes or templates on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

If you wish to have complete control over a blog, the ability to upload themes and plugins, and to edit themes and templates then your option is to hire a web host and get a free software install from WordPress.ORG and self host it.

Please read the differences between WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG I link to so we don’t have to keep dealing with them on a piecemeal basis, thread by thread . :) http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

“Archive” is just a name for Posts that are not on the front page.

You could when you publish a Post set the time / date stamp into the past and that should move the Post off the front page.

Changing Date stamps after a Post is published is not a good idea as search engines will get a 404 Page not found error –

No problem, word NO was just fine answer with me :) I asked because I maybe didn’t saw some option for category (like to exclude from post page), but this doesn’t exist on wp.com. Got it. Thank you on brief answer. I’m sure that users are repeating a lot of questions, so I apologize :)

    I’ll resolve this one 2 ;)

Auxclass, thanks for idea but I don’t want that to happen to my posts :)
I digg the difference between .com and .org of wordpress, I was just asking if there is some hidden checkbox that I didn’t saw :)

Nah I’m sorry but there is no hidden check-box. LOL :)
