slide and header on home page
-
I would like to use the homepage slideshow but still keep the header image on the home page – it’s very important since the header has my logo in it – how do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
In the Academica theme you’re using, the slider replaces the header image on the home page. There isn’t a built-in way to have both a header image and a slider there.
If you’d like to have your logo appear everywhere, you might want to check out these themes that support a site logo: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/site-logo/
The site logo is separate from the header image, and you can read more about it here: Site Logo
We also have a list of all the themes that support both a site logo and a slider here: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/site-logo+post-slider/
That way, you can set up a slider and make sure your logo still appears. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Strange, the original Academica has both – http://demo.wpzoom.com/?theme=academica
Well, I am not ready to switch to a new theme but I would still like to have slideshow on the front. I tried to use gallery slideshow, but I am not happy with the default look and for some reason I have not been able to modify the look in the css editor.
Can you help me with that? I want to change the background, border and height of the gallery slideshow. Which css element do I need to change?
