Slide Carousel and wordpress.com

How can I add a slide carousel to wordpress.com? Is there a plugin, widget or something else I can use? Something that is very user friendly would be preferred.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do note that there is no FTP access to our blogs and we cannot install plugins. There’s a built in carousel and we can also have galleries and slidehows.
An image gallery will display a set of thumbnail images attached to a particular post or page. When clicked, gallery images are displayed in a full-size carousel view.

That said if what you are asking is “can I add a post slider to a theme that does not already have one?” then the answer is no. We do have themes with post sliders on the front page. In most themes with featured post sliders visitors have to click to advance the slider to the next featured post. Some themes have a featured post slider that automatically advances: Debut, Currents, Linen, On Demand, Modularity Lite. (the first 4 are premium themes) and the last one is a free theme. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-slider/

hey! Thanks for the info. I did want a slider/carousel. Kind of disheartening …seems like u get more features with the .org than the .com

Of course you have more features when you hire a webhost and set up a free wordpress.org install. WordPress.com is a multiuser blogging platform with over 31 million blogging on the same platform and aour blogs ahare a common archgterecture, so to speak, hence, security is a major issue. On a wordpress.org isntall you can install whatever plugins you wish, because if and when when your stand alone wordpress.org install goes down it doesn’t take any other sites down with it.
