  With new WordPress lay out….the gallery option is there and I can add images to a gallery, but the “slide show/square tiles, etc” option is not there. Only thing that’s there is the abililty to select order. The option basically disappeared since the last time I posted – which was about 3 weeks ago. HELP!!

  Hi there,

  You’re right, with the rollout of the new editor there are still a few things missing. You can still style your gallery how you like it though in a couple of different ways.

  You can use the full power of the Gallery Shortcode, by specifying which gallery style you want inside of the code. We talk about how to do this right here:

  And then you also could just post any galleries which you want to do in a style other than thumbnail from within the old post editor. To get there, you’ll just need to go to your Dashboard and then go to Posts >> Add New. The Add Media button works as usual from that location!
