Slide show and separate photos in same post?

  I have just posted a slide show on my blog, but then wrote more text and wished to insert different single photos between the paragraphs, without them being in the slideshow.. When the blog was published the single extra ones in the text where I wanted them, but were also duplicated in the slideshow. Is there any way of doing this without every photo posted appearing as a slideshow, and keeping some as single images within the post?

  The only way to do this is to insert the additional images by URL and not upload them to the post where the slideshow is located. As you noted, any photo uploaded to the same post is included in the slideshow.
