slide show from smilebox

  I know wordpress allows slide presentations from slide.com, but does it also allow smilebox? Smilebox is so cool…I’m not too happy with slide.com.

  I mean. Smilebox has instructions about how to upload wordpress, so I thought it was allowed, but then on preview or edit mode, the start button is blocked.

  There are two kinds of WordPress; check the threads at the top of the forum on that.

  Yes, I know that there are 2 kinds of wordpress. I was just wondering if wordpress.com allows smilebox because I tried to upload it but it’s not happening. When I click on the arrow to start the slide presentation, it doesn’t work.
  I only want to know if smilebox is allowed or not. I’ve been reading through many posts and tutorials and I tell you, it’s a maze out there.

  I read that about 3 times ellaella, thanks anyway. When I created a slide presentation on smilebox, it said “upload to wordpress.” I did and it didn’t work, so judging from the FAQs, only wordpress dot org accepts smilebox, not wordpress dot com. That’s all I wanted to know.

  You’re right about that. Most of the time when a widget or any other “paste into” thing says wordpress, they mean .org. I think some companies aren’t even aware of the differences.

  At slide.com (which works well) I had to hunt for the .com code — it was way at the bottom in tiny print.
