  how to make a slider for the front page instead of just a single image

  Hi there,

  You are using Edin theme on your blog mobilephonestories.wordpress.com.
  This theme doesn’t have a slider that appears at the top of the page.

  What you could do is put a gallery slideshow on a page instead of a post and set that page to use the full-width template (see the page attributes module of the editor for page templates). https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-options/#template
  Then set that page as your home page.

  The easiest way to create a slideshow is to select Add Media when you’re editing a post or page and then inserting an image gallery. Then you just select that the gallery is shown as a slideshow:

  If you follow the above route then your homepage will not resemble the demo page of your theme.
