Slider and featured articles were in the theme but not in my options, why?
-
I chose the Dyad theme because i liked the slider, displaying 3 featured articles and also because it was free. Then, why is it that i can’t seem to customize it with these 2 options just like the demo? I can only put a static picture with no articles linked to it…
Thanks for your help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
This is the second thread of this nature that has been posted and I cannot create a front page slider either as described under Featured Posts here https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/dyad/ and seen here https://dyaddemo.wordpress.com/That’s why I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Themes Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

@timethief – Can you make sure you’ve chosen one of your tags to be featured, not a category? (I did that too when I first set it up :)
@fibonacci2point0 – Can you give the steps on the theme’s info page a try? https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/dyad/
You’ll need to add tags to a few posts and then add that tag to your Customizer settings.

Noted. Long story short. I gave up previously and switched themes. I am multitasking now from my business using a bilingual keyboard, which is crazymaking enough as is, and I do not have time to switch themes again right now. I will do so later. Thanks. -
No worries! Just drop a note if you test later and can’t get it working. I can take another look.
