Slider and two column options ISSUE with Bold NEWS

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, I purchased the theme Bold News and I’m facing problems with the slider and to set the two column option in my home page. I followed any single step > created a tag “featured” and added a note > added the tag to the posts which all have a featured image> setted the options in appearance slider: but still is not working. Either I actives the two column options but still I can only see a single column in my home. Any suggestions to sort these problems? Thanks. Regards

    Hi there,

I’m able to see two columns on your home page — the main content area and a right sidebar.

Could you please enable the slider and assign the slider tag at Appearance -> Theme Options?

Once you do so you can assign the tag to your posts:

You might also want to set a featured image on each of your posts.

They should be at least 216 x 100 pixels in size.

    Hello,
What I meant is that I activated the option to show the posts in my page in
    two columns.
I just enabled the slider. I already did the all process I assigned the tag in
    my theme options slider.
Than added the tags, assigned an image featured, ticked as sticky any posts,
but still not showing anything. The problem seems to be that when I go back to my theme options under the appearance the tags I setted are not showed..

  • In this case, I recommend contacting the developer directly for help: http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/bold-news

For future reference, there will be a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but the theme needs to be active and you need to be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.
