Slider for Oxygen template

  Despite reading the available instructions, I cannot figure out how to insert the slider in my Oxygen theme site thesoutherndrawl.com. Can you please direct me to clearer instructions. Basically I would like to use the same layout that is visible when selecting the theme to start with.

  Hi there – In Oxygen, the slider appears only if you set up a “Showcase Page template” for your front page. You’ll want to create a new blank page titles something like “Home” and choose the Showcase Page template as pictured here.

  Then, go to Settings->Reading in your Dashboard and choose the page you just created as your static front page, as described here:

  Then, to get posts to show up in the slider, you must do two things to the posts:
  1. Mark them as sticky: Post Visibility
  2. Set a large featured image for them: Featured Images
