slider image not working due to footer.php fille called wp_footer() missing

    Hello I am hoping one of you guys can help me. I currently have the Rosalie theme running on my site and I noticed the slider wasn’t working. I contacted the designer and they have replied with this;

    However in this case the problem is that the footer section is missing.
    There is a php function in the footer.php fille called wp_footer(); which
    is mandatory for WordPress. This hook is used to load external js files and
    basic WordPress configurations.
    There is other things that also doesn’t work due to this missing call, for
    example the mobile menu.

    You can delete html tags, but his function have to be in the file.

    For that reason, if you only want to hide the Footer in the design, it is
    better to add this CSS and restore the file instead of other solution:

    #colophon {
    display: none;
    }

    I was trying to remove the wordpress footer so I obviously deleted something important in doing so which them meant that the slider now doesn’t work. I do not understand from this reply what I am supposed to add where because I am very new to all of this. Please can somebody explain in a way you might tell your ten year old? :) I want to restore what I have deleted but I also want to know how to remove the wordpress logo in the footer.

    http://wanderlustwomen.net/ is not hosted on WordPress.COM. It hosted on BlueHost and is using the WordPress.ORG software package.

    You have posted your issue in the wrong forum. This forum only supports the sites hosted on WordPress.COM and not elsewhere.

    Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
