'Slider' tag continues to vanish

    Dear Help team,

    Our website ‘futurelabeurope.eu’, powered by wordpress, is a key tool in our programme FutureLab Europe.
    We have just launched five projects that are promoted through this website.
    The Blog Post announcing the five projects, ‘FutureLab Europe officially unveils its five European projects for 2017’, needs to appear on the Homepage as the first of four slides on the slideshow.
    We tagged the Blog Post with ‘slider’, thereby ensuring it appears on the slideshow.
    However, the Blog Post continues to disappear from the slideshow – when checking on the post, the tag ‘slider’ is removed.
    This is very disrupting, since the website is currently promoted through a widespread newsletter, and people are encouraged to visit the website through Twitter and Facebook.
    We would like the Post to stick to the slider, all the more since it takes a long time, up to 8 hours, for the Post to re-appear on the Slideshow after we have added the ‘slider’-tag again.

    We ask for your support in this technical problem and hope it will be solved soon.

    Hi Leonie,

    As you can see from the screenshot below, the post appears on your site’s homepage as the first slide.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the swift reply.
    Yes, the post is up again on the slideshow because I added the “slider”-tag again manually yesterday.
    But the problem is that the slider-tag GOES OFF automatically every other day, removing the post from the slide-show without any interference from our side!
    So suddenly, the slideshow only features three slides instead of four, and when I check on the post, I see that the slider-tag is removed – which is very weird, since no-one besides me is working on it.

    Please check if anything with the post might not be ok, or how to make sure that the slider-tag stays PERMANENTLY.

    Hi there,

    I currently see four posts on your site that are tagged “slider”, and all four also appear in the slider on your site’s front page.

    Did you add the tag back again?

    To investigate this I’ll need to look at the post after the tag disappeared, so if it happens again, please don’t add back the tag, and let me know from exactly which post the tag disappeared and I can take a look.

    Hello,

    Okay, I will notify you immediately when the tag hops off again so that you can take a look.
    When it happened last two days ago, I immediately added the tag again because we currently need to have the page as proper as possible.

    I understand. I’m subscribed to the thread so will receive an email when you reply again, so if I’m working at the time I’ll see it immediately so the tag isn’t missing for too long.
