slider too big on mobile devices

    The slider images on the home page are too large in both portrait and landscape on my smartphone (Moto X 2nd gen). I’d like to make them smaller or get rid of them. How do I do this?

    Hi there, according to the support documentation for Designfolio, the featured images should be a minimum of 750px wide and 450px tall. If you use a larger image, it is cropped to fit. This may be the issue as your images are 2000px by 475px.

    The images on the Designfolio demo site are 600px x 450px and there is also some cropping that occurs there. I would suggest posting in the Designfolio support forum where you have access to the theme designer and see what they have to say.

    Thanks. I will see if we can make them smaller but it may wreck the effect of keeping middle the same and shifting edges.

    I assume I can set display: none with media queries and get the slides to go away at small sizes?

    I will try Designfolio support forum but theme designer has not responded to issues for 3 months.

    Absolutely, I hadn’t thought of that, but most certainly this is an option.
