Slider with text above images

    Hi everyone, I’m trying to create a slider for the front page of my website which will show a sequence of text slides in large font (heading and sub-heading) overlaid on a single blurred image.

    I have tried the text slider widget but it doesn’t have an in-built option to include an image behind. I have searched for other sliders but they seem to be more focussed on images than text. Can anyone recommend a good one?

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
