Slider/customizing widgets/using HTML in footer text box problems

  Hi, I just purchased the zuki theme and have left a question in the premium theme forum for which I’m still awaiting an answer. But perhaps you can tell me (1) is the front page slider supposed to slide automatically or must it be manually used using the left and right arrows. (2) I am trying to add a linked image and text in a “Text ” widget in one of the footers but the html simply is not working. I’ve used this technique in my .org site for years and cannot understand why it’s not taking here. (3) When I click on Customize in order to work on my Front Page footer widgets, the customize “window” that opens on the right side of my screen does not scroll down far enough to allow me to access the 4th and 5th widget. I can access them via the dashboard widget feature but it seems very strange that I cannot also use the customize feature via the customize window. Am I doing something wrong here? Many thanks.
