  I am working on my wordpress site. I want to add a slider to page 2. It will only load on my home page. Is there a way to add a slider to a page other than a home page and how do I do it?

  Bare in mind that if your websites uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, you should post in the self-hosted forums or alternatively contact your hosting prover. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
