Sliders not working

Purchased customized dynamic news theme. At first sliders were working with featured posts. Then I tried to use some feature images and when I did that, sliders stopped working. Now I cannot get them to work. Tried clearing cache, restarting computer, logging out, logging back in, etc. Please help. I’m very frustrated. I’d like to get sliders to work with featured posts AND featured images since this is what I purchased it for. Thanks very much for your assistance.

Hi there,
To activate the featured post slider in Dynamic News, you’ll need to go to Appearance > Customize in the blog’s dashboard. There, you can open the Theme section and look for these settings:
Activate Featured Post Slider
- Display Slider on Magazine Front Page template.
- Display Slider on normal blog index.
Since you’re showing the normal blog (your latest posts) on your front page, you’ll need to make sure that second option is checked. That should activate the slider there.

Thanks so much for the help. As a matter of fact, I did get it to work; the only problem is this. It’s up and running, and when my husband checks it out on his laptop from his user name, he can see the slider, but when I look at on my own wordpress site from my user name, it does not show up as running. This doesn’t make sense. Why? Any ideas? It’s working, I just can’t see it from my own site, and I created it! Crazy, huh?

I checked your site and I also see the slider, so I can confirm that it’s working. It sounds like your computer just needs to have the site refreshed, since it’s saved an older version of the site (without the slider). You can refresh the page your browser or, if that doesn’t work, clear your browser’s cache.
