  Hello

  I have just subscribed to wordpress and I am following a video tutorial on YOUTUBE which has shown the button ‘slides’ on the tutorial dashboard but there is no where on my dashboard which refers to slides, in addition I want to use the restrict function but again (amongst other things) that also doesn’t appear on my dashboard? But does on the video. Do I need to upgrade to remove the blog and achieve the above? Any help would be gratefully received.

  Watching videos for WordPress.ORG installs when you have a WordPress.COM blog will confuse you and tend to rot your brain. :)

  Most of the videos on YouTube are for WordPress.ORG installs, much better to start here with information designed by and for WordPress.COM blogs

  Thank you! Brain rotting had taken place. I will look at these now. Before I do, if I am trying to create a membership website am I in the wrong place? Thanks again for your help.
