slideshare embedded slideshow freezes my browser

  Starting a month ago, each time I embedd a slideshare presentation in a post, looking at the corresponding post close to freezes my browser. Here is an example: http://xianblog.wordpress.com/2013/07/25/snapshort-from-budapest-ems-2013-3/
  I wonder where the problem comes from.

  Can you please try clearing out your browser cache?

  Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari?

  Thanks. I did clean the cache, to no avail. And the issue does not occur on Rekonq, only with Firefox indeed…

  Are you using Ubuntu? Could you please make sure you’re running the latest version of Firefox.

  I am under Ubuntu and my version of Firefox is 23.0, which seems like the latest to me.

  Could you try to reset Firefox. Note that you might lose some settings and/or bookmarks. Perhaps you can export those first if you want to.

  1: Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2: Click the “Reset Firefox” button.
