    Hi, in the theme you are using, Mystique, it will show one post set as a sticky post which has a featured image, on the top of the main page. For more information, see the Mystique Theme Showcase page under “Featured (“Sticky”) Post”.

    As an alternate to the above, you could put a slideshow into a post, set that post as a sticky post and it will show up at the top of the main post page.

    If you want a post slider at the top of your site, that shows multiple posts, you will have to choose a theme that has that feature built into it. There are currently 47 themes here at WordPress.com that have a post slider and you can see all of them by clicking here.

    You may also want to take a look at Photography, Photoblogging and Portfolio themes, which you can find by going to the Theme Showcase, clicking on “Find a Theme” and then clicking on Subject and selecting the subjects there.
