  how do i remove the dark box behind my slideshow? The demo site doesnt have this.

  Hi there! Your theme’s demo isn’t actually using the gallery widget like you’ve installed on your site. It’s utilizing the Post Slider that is offered as one of its features.

  If you’d like your site to look like Portfolio’s demo, please take a look at this support document:

  You will want to scroll down the page until you see the heading, “Adding posts to the featured slider.” Follow these instructions, and you’ll be all set!
