slideshow backgrounds defaulted to black, css not working

    Slideshow background window has again defaulted to black without warning? I suspect this has something to do with new Jetpack update? Please advise how to fix this via custom css – disappointed in lack of support & updates from WordPress.

    Hi @artypixie,

    Try this, but I am not 100% sure because it looks like that existing CSS is regenerating on each slide movement.

    .jetpack-slideshow-slide {
     background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0)!important
    }

    Second Option:
    May be you need to change the Image Gallery Carousel background color. Here is the link that will take you to the Media Settings page:

    https://artworkseast.com/wp-admin/options-media.php

    Or the route look like this:
    WP Dashboard >> Settings >> Media >> Image Gallery Carousel Section

    Let me know if it didn’t solve your problem.

  • If the above doesn’t work, would you please give us a link to the post or page with the problem?
