Thanks.

@ fiatlux123,
Hi.The link to the edit post is:

I can’t view administrative pages. I’m just a volunteer, not WP staff.
If you use my original link (The blog I need help with is scottfinchercom.wordpress.com.) you can see the problem.
The reason I asked for the URL of a specific post or page on which the issue occurs is that I did not and do not presently see any sign of a slide show at https://scottfinchercom.wordpress.com/.

Thanks much for taking your time and trouble.
Try this again. The earlier link probably took you got a practice page for a thing called Pets to Go. This should work now. I just tried it.

Understood, and thanks for the link. That’s how the buttons display on all of my WP slideshows as well. I imagine that you can move the buttons, change their size, etc. with CSS customization. The Slideshows support page addresses some frequently answered questions, but how to change the position of the navigation buttons is not among them.

Thanks again. I have read and reread the Slideshows support. Yup, nothing. Now I suspect the problem might have to do with being at WP.com, which as you know greatly limits customization. Eventually I guess I will move over to WP.org but not until I refine what I have. For now, I guess we both will have to live with this blemish. Take care and thanks again.

You’re welcome. Best wishes. Boy, that hoops shot with the full moon really brought back memories. : )

Hoops memories? Interesting. Would love to hear more if you are inclined.
I am very proud of that shot because it took me several visits and much planning to be at the right place. and maybe the right time. Got lucky with the kids on the court. If you’re curious about more of what I do check out http://www.scottfincher.com. I doing WP so that I can refurbish the site and not have to bug a web designer friend.
