Slideshow image fill container with no white space

    There is white space on the top and bottom of the slideshow. My simple wish is to have the image fill the slideshow with absolutely no padding/margin/background shown. It can either be image 100% width while container adapting to height of the image, or vice versa for 100% height, or have the image go beyond container but cropped if it is easier. As long as there is no extra white space I have already hidden pagination, back/forward buttons, pause buttons, etc. Can anyone help? Thank you very much.
