Slideshow in Modularity Lite

  Hi there,

  After much tinkering, I finally got the Modularity Lite Slide Show working. However, I have a question about it.

  As designed, it pulls images from your most recent posts, as long as they are sized correctly, and put them into a slide show. Is there any way, instead, to alter the code so that you are able to choose specific images from your media file to be shown? For example, picking the ones that you want up there all the time, instead of it updating with the most recent?

  Also, is there a way to get that slideshow to appear on all of your pages, both blog page and pages? Or will it only run on the blog page?

  Hope my questions makes sense, and look forward to any input into how to alter the code.

  No, there is no way to choose specific images, and there is no way to force it to appear on all pages. It only shows up on the main posts page.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for all of your help. Here’s another question. I just bought the wordpress.com with domain mapping and the custom upgrade the other day.

  It seems that, had I bought through wordpress.org, there are work arounds for the slideshow. (And more customization options that it seems that I can get through wordpress.com)

  I know I can pay to migrate, but given that I just paid for all of this other stuff, is there any kind of refund or such? Just hate paying all that money only to then pay another 120 to move the site.

  Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

  The domain mapping upgrade you can get a refund on for up to 30 days.

  If you purchased your domain name here that can be used anywhere by just editing the DNS here and pointing it at the new web host.

  The Modularity Lite slideshow is a teaser for your latest posts. If you want the same specific images all the time and on all of your pages, you don’t need the ML slideshow, you need to create an animated GIF in the right dimensions and upload it as a header image.
