slideshow in Toujours Theme

  hi there
  I downloaded the toujours theme for my self-host website and I saw that the featured content doesn’t exist. why?

  Hi there!

  Your site mathpresso.wordpress.com is using Rowling theme. If you have recently changed the theme, please make sure that you have activated new theme.

  To set up the Featured Content slideshow in Toujours theme, follow these steps:

  – Navigate to Customize → Featured Content.
  – Choose a word to use as your Featured Content tag and add it in the text field(a lowercase, single word, like featured).
  – Click the Publish button to save changes.
  – Now create at least a few posts. For each post, you’d like to feature, use the Tags & Categories area of the editor to add the tag you added in step 1.
  – Add a featured image to each post you’re featuring. Choose images that are at least 1160 pixels wide and 655 pixels tall.

  thank you so much because of your complete answer. actually I don’t want to change the theme of mathpresso. as I have mentioned in my question, I am about to use “toujours” in my self-host website pangan7.com. and yes I know I should active the slide show from “featured content” but as I downlowded and actived it, it was no featured content!
