Slideshow Issues

    Help!

On my home page, I am only supposed to have one slideshow (the one showing on the bottom). However, when I tried to add more images to the slideshow gallery, it created a new slideshow for those images. Even after deleting the images from the gallery, it didn’t go away :(. Please help! I don’t know how to fix it and it’s right on my homepage!

    The website is http://www.skyehighphotography.com

    Thank you.

It looks like you accidentally created two galleries.

If you open the page editor and click the “text” tab in the upper right corner, it will be easy to see what happened. Just delete the top gallery tag and it will go away.

To add more photos to your existing gallery, go back to the visual tab and click between two of the thumbnails. That should create a grey box around the images and a small pencil should appear in the left corner. Click the pencil, then click “add to gallery” in the left-side menu on in the window that pops up.

That should fix everything, but if you still have questions, let me know!

Hi Liz! Thanks for your help.

However, the problem is, in both “text” and “visual”, it doesn’t show there’s a separate gallery. It only shows up on my homepage but, like I said, even after deleting the photos it didn’t go away. There is no sign of a second gallery for me to delete! I can only find the first one when I go to edit the page :( ugh..

Yayy! Thank you! I guess I was just scared to delete anything because I didn’t know what it would do to my other slideshow! But thank you so much :)

No problem. The “text” tab can be intimidating when you don’t know for sure what you are looking at. And, it’s always helpful to get a second opinion when trying something that seems scary. I’m glad I could help.
