slideshow not available

  Hi there

  I recently exported my blog from wordpress.com onto our website. With the new platform I have noticed that all the written content and pictures were exported fine but the slideshows didn’t and when I upload the photos new (to recreated the slideshows from scratch) I do not see an option of creating a slideshow. Does this have anything to do with flash or am I just not seeing the upload button?

  @flatartstudios, I went to the link above and didn’t see any slideshows. What pages were they on?

  Also, some code is not able to run on WordPress.com, i.e. embeds, flash, etc. You can read all about that on this Support page, http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  Does that help you with the problem you were having?

  @weschyrchel – the answer you gave is for sites hosted on WordPress.COM not for the site being ask about which is a WordPress.ORG install – that will confuse the person that is needing help as your answer is not relevant to their blog and will not help them at all.

  @auxclass, my apologies, I thought he was implying that he was merging two sites on WordPress.com.

  @flatartstudios, yes post your question on the wordpress.org forums, but most likely you will need to download and install a new slideshow plugin. There are several in the plugin repository. One of my favorites is “wp-cycle.” Good luck!

  You will have to install a plugin. The WordPress.ORG software has no native slideshow built into it.
