  Is there a way for the slideshow photos to enlarge to full screen, i.e. when clicked on, it will expand to full screen view? Or is there a way for the gallery to only display a single image rather than all images that were uploaded?

  @ccshiraishi, slideshows and galleries behave differently. When you click on an image in a slideshow, nothing happens. When you click on an image in a gallery, it is enlarged and displayed in the carousel image viewer.

  You can create a gallery containing a single image, even if multiple images are attached to the page or post, by using the include parameter of the gallery shortcode:

  [gallery include="ID"]

  Replace ID with the attachment ID number for the image you want. You can find the ID number in the URL when you edit the image in the Media Library.
