Slideshow widget

    Is there a way to get a dynamic slideshow in a sidebar widget?

    I have successfully created such slideshows in sidebar widgets on Blogger using either Google’s Javascript or Flickr’s Javascript linked to a Flickr RSS feed. However, WordPress.com doesn’t allow scripting (for good reasons). I’ve found help about creating slideshows in posts but not in widgets.

    Yes, I have found the static Flickr widget, but that shows a static set of images. I would like a dynamic rotation, such as show the last 10 images for three seconds each, with a transition effect.

    If there is no such thing, please consider this a request.

    (I’m finding WordPress and WordPress.com great in general, btw!)
