slideshow widgets

  Hello, I am using the ovis theme and trying to add slide show sidgets to my portfolio which seem to appear fine when I’m on the editting page but when I switch to the published version of the portfolio the widget won’t work and instead the pictures are displayed in a vertical line. Does anyone have any advise on how to get the slideshow feature to work?

  Hey there,

  Thanks for reaching out.

  It looks like this is a bug that relates to the theme and the slideshow block. I’ve added this thread to the bug report we have internally.

  You may wish to consider a new block, for example a gallery or perhaps uploading this block as a video on YouTube and embedding a YouTube block.

  Thank you, that’s helpful to know. I’ve tried using gallery blocks etc. instead but found the same issue and really don’t want to use YouTube. Do you have any other advice?

  The best bet at the moment is to try a different theme that isn’t affected by this bug. We have definitely reported this issue internally and will keep you updated with anything we find, but if this is a key feature for your site, I would recommend trying out a different theme.
