  i want to make the slideshow on my wordpress.com site have a larger width. is there any way to do that in the css? thank you

  @allstonbrighton, unfortunately, the width of the slideshow is hard coded into the jQuery function call which displays the slideshow. Consequently, there is no way to override the width setting, even using CSS in Custom Display.

  The best you can do for now is try WordPress different themes. Some themes display the slideshow slightly larger than others.
