Slideshow with text

  Is there a way to make a slideshow with text in wordpress.com? I’d like to do some top 5 lists, etc., but without having them take up too much space on my homepage and of course, to make it more dramatic. All the slideshow options I have seen have only been for photos only.

  Slideshows are for images only. However, you can create an image consisting of text offline and upload it as you would any image. Do note though that no links you include will be active.
