slideshows
-
When i create a new gallery to make a slideshow of my pictures and set the page as “slideshow page” the page still remain blank with just the two arrow on the side but without any pictures.
I tried everything and the slideshow only works with the “standard template” page but i really don’t like the result.
So, How can i do that? I simply want a normal slideshow in an empty page with the “slideshow page” model.I set my Portraits Page in the way i want it if you want to check.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Which of your pages are you trying to set up to have a slideshow? Also, are you following the instructions which are provided on
Setting Up the Slideshow Page Template
Creating the page:- Create a Page.
- Set the Slideshow Page Template within the Page Attributes.
- Publish or Update the page.
Adding slideshow images:
- Within the page editor, click the Add Media button.
- Upload your images in the Media Library by dragging them into the window, or selecting the Upload tab.
- Do NOT click the Insert into page button. Instead, close the Media Library window. Note: The images will automatically be added to the slideshow after uploading them to the page.
- Publish or Update the page.
The important part above is where it states that you must not insert items into the page but instead just close the Media Library window. Many folks get caught up in that.
Also, please note that as an owner of a Premium theme, you have access to that theme’s forum, which is managed by the theme’s author. If you continue to have troubles you may want to check it out right here:

Great, now it works but meanwhile i found another way, putting a new mosaic gallery in a normal layout page and it is fine.
But when i click on the picture to enlarge it, it appear the comment field and the reblog Botton just below the picture down in the Bottom of the page.
I tried to deactivate any “allow comments” setting for the page but the field still remain. How can i deactivate it?Many trank for support

If you want to disable comments for any new pages you create then you want to do so via Settings >> Discussion, which it sounds like you’ve already done. If you want to remove comments for already-created pages then you’ll need to follow the instructions in this help article:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/
You’ll want to read through the entire article before getting started as the box which you need to check to disable comments isn’t visible by default. You’ll need to turn it on first, and that too is in the instructions!

Yes, i follow all these steps, and did everything but when i enlarge the picture from the gallery still remain the comment field.
I tried to find if there is a specific setting for the comments into the galleries but i haven’t found anything. Do you know something about that?

I sincerely apologize. I had thought you were asking about how to disable comments for pages and posts, not for images. Re-reading your previous post I can see that you did specify that. Again, apologies.
Unfortunately there is no way to disable comments on images. It is currently impossible on WordPress.com
