Slideshows Resized. Please help.
-
Heya.
Since a few days ago, the slideshows on my blog have suddenly become huge and blownout – whereas before, they were compact, neat and streamlined.
I haven’t installed any new plug-ins, or done anything other than edit an unpublished post and add some new slideshows to it. As soon as I added an image to one of these new slideshows, however, it changed the look of all of them – even on old posts I haven’t touched in months.
How they looked before:

How they look now:

The image is now so big, I can’t even get it all in the same screencap! And it’s larger than even its original upload was.
I’ve tried different themes, cleared caches, had a Host Gator support agent optimise the site their end, manually changed some of the slideshow sizes to ‘medium’ and tried multiple CSS codes suggested by ChatGPT – all to no avail.
Eventually, I was able to trace it to being an issue with the Jetpack slideshow feature. However I still don’t know how to fix this.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
