Slideshows without galleries

Can I have a slideshow without a gallery, one that is launched by clicking on any photo attached to the post? I’m using the Ideation and Intent Theme.

Hi Rose,
Just to clarify, are you looking to have the same interface (what we call the carousel) launch for any image, even if it is not part of a gallery?
The only way I can think of managing that would be if you created a series of one-image galleries. I can’t imagine that would be quite what you were looking for, but it might be?

What I’d like is a carousel of all the photos uploaded to a post, one that launches when someone clicks on any of the photos in the post. I’ve seen this on other photo blogs, including old ones. (An example not from wordpress, but that I got the idea from is http://tgvchronicles.blogspot.com/2014/10/october-19-pumpkinville.html )
My thought is that some of the people who come to my site may want to skip my text and just look through the photos on a post. And it will take longer to load if I have the gallery as well as the individual large photos with the text that goes with them.

Hi Rose,
I’m afraid that our galleries don’t really work that way. You can of course have all of your images exist within one gallery, but they will all display together and you won’t be able to put your text between the images.
