Slow Blog Load

  Hi!
  My blog (homepage) is loading VERY slowly (I have DSL not dialup). It appears that all the pictures I have in my posts are loading slowly. Is there anything I can do about this?

  I ran into a similar problem some time ago. It was a firewall issue, and turning it off briefly seemed to be the only way to speed things up. Interestingly though, once loaded, the firewall would allow them to load normally. I use Computer Associates full Suite, and it has a very aggressive firewall. Might be worth a try? Who knows..?

  Well, since it’s a private blog, we can’t see what’s happening, so taking a stab here…

  Are you uploading your pictures at their original size? Try resizing them before uploading to suit your theme.
